Shanhuan is a genderqueer Chinese-American filmmaker focused on composting extractive methods of cinematic storytelling into regenerative rituals, and making the possibilities of speculative worlds real through collaborative storytelling and mythmaking. They are currently developing several projects centering the more-than-human world, troubling and co-creating contemporary mythologies for navigating the crises of our times.
